Our extension boss is useful when you have fitted a decat and your vehicle goes into limp mode. When you fit a decat the oxygen sensor may get confused because it is reading a higher level of exhaust fumes. This sensor boss extender screws into the existing sensor boss and pulls the oxygen sensor away from the exhaust which ensure it reads the oxygen levels correctly.
